Things to Know
Artwork Approval
Approval Timeline: We typically pre-approve artworks within 48 hours. Billboard Media owners we have contracts with can take up to 7 business days to perform the final approval of the artwork, depending on the country. In some cases this can be even longer. Artwork should be prepared in (jpg & png) format. Videos should be in (mp4) format.
Allow a minimum of 48 hours, but it can stretch to 7-14 days depending on the market and media owner. Sometimes even longer if there are secondary approvals needed—like government spaces requiring council sign-off.
Tips For Designers
Use large, legible type. People view outdoor screens from a distance or while moving. The guidelines above recommend minimum font sizes (24 pt for pump screens up to 160 pt for extra‑large portraits).
Keep it simple. High‑contrast colours, concise messaging and a clear focal point help your ad stand out. Avoid clutter and small text that is unreadable at distance.
Check file sizes and compression. Export images and videos using efficient compression so that each file stays under the 7MB. For video, aim for 1080 p or 4K resolution as specified and compress to ensure quick loading.
Create multiple sizes. If your campaign uses different board types, prepare a separate creative for each required resolution.
Submit early. Because the approval process can take up to 7 business, plan ahead and get your artwork to us well before your scheduled start date.

When you schedule your consultation or book your campaign, you’ll receive the exact artwork sizes required for your selected billboard or panel.
Indoor/private venues generally use a 16:9 aspect ratio (e.g., 1920 × 1080 pixels or 3840 × 2160 pixels)
Outdoor billboards can vary widely, we recommend designing artwork at the exact pixel resolution shown for each board and keeping files under 7MB
Supported formats are static PNG/JPEG for images and MP4 for video; HTML ads are not currently supported.
Video is blocked on road‑side screens in some jurisdictions for driver safety.
